Domaine Ponsot, located in Morey-Saint-Denis, is one of the oldest estates in the Côte de Nuits, with a winemaking history dating back to the 15th century. Now managed by Éric and Mathieu Ponsot, it remains independent and discreet, with around 10 hectares of vineyards including village, premier cru, and grand cru plots (Bonnes-Mares, Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis). Their approach blends tradition and rigor: plowing, sustainable farming, manual harvesting, and whole-cluster fermentations depending on the vineyard.

Long aging in old barrels favors finesse and depth without excessive oak influence. Ponsot wines are renowned for their balance, fine tannins, freshness, and elegant aging potential. They reflect ancestral savoir-faire with a modern vision that honors each vineyard’s identity and legacy.
