The Dufouleur Frères estate, based in Nuits‑Saint‑Georges, is a family-run operation passed down through generations. It now cultivates around 12 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyard spans village appellations, premiers crus, and a few renowned plots, all farmed using sustainable viticulture and harvested entirely by hand.
The traditional cellar employs indigenous yeast fermentations, slow macerations with adapted punch-downs, and carefully measured barrel aging, enhancing both finesse and structure. The village cuvées offer delicate fruit and elegant freshness, while the premiers crus reveal greater depth, tension, and expression of terroir.
The red wines stand out for their supple tannins, aromatic palette of red berries, and impressive persistence. The whites, though less common, display vibrant citrus notes and subtle minerality.
