Geantet Pansiot
Domaine Geantet Pansiot, located in Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, is a historic family estate known for its exceptional wines. The domaine spans about 10 hectares, primarily planted with Pinot Noir for reds and a smaller amount of Chardonnay for whites. The Geantet Pansiot family, passionate and deeply respectful of Burgundian traditions, strives to produce wines that best reflect their terroirs.
Practicing reasoned viticulture, interventions in the vineyard and cellar are kept to a minimum. Harvesting is manual, with particular attention to grape selection. In the cellar, traditional vinification and oak barrel aging for reds add complexity and finesse. The rarer whites are vinified with equal care and exhibit refreshing qualities.
The wines of Domaine Geantet Pansiot are renowned for their precision and finesse. The reds, from Pinot Noir, are powerful yet well-balanced, displaying aromas of red and black fruits, spicy notes, and fine tannins. These wines age elegantly, developing more complex aromas over time. The whites offer beautiful minerality, stone fruit aromas, and great freshness on the palate.
