The Domaine David Duband, located in Chevannes in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, is a prestigious family-run estate now covering nearly 20 hectares, including plots in Gevrey-Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot, Latricières-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and several Premiers Crus.
Founded by Pierre Duband in 1960 and taken over by his son David in 1991, the viticulture is certified organic, with plowing, grass cover between rows, strict sorting, and yield control. Vinification emphasizes aromatic complexity and elegance: 60–90% whole-cluster fermentation, no industrial yeasts, 14 months of barrel aging (30–40% new), and minimal filtration.
The wines are loved for their purity, fine tannins, fresh fruit, and subtle minerality. Their presence on prestigious starred tables (Georges V, Bristol, Louis XV…) is a testament to their high regard. David Duband crafts noble, vibrant, and refined wines, faithfully expressing the soul of Burgundy.
