Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet, located in Fixin, Burgundy, is run by Amélie Berthaut, representing the seventh generation of the family’s winemakers. The estate spans approximately 16 hectares, with parcels in Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, and Flagey-Échézeaux, primarily planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Amélie practices sustainable viticulture, incorporating organic methods and a terroir-driven approach to winemaking. This includes cold maceration for 3 to 5 days, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and aging in concrete vats or oak barrels with moderate use of sulfur.
The domaine's wines are renowned for their elegance and authentic expression of the Côte de Nuits terroirs.
