Bertrand Vuillemin

After more than 30 years of experience in consulting, marketing and customer relations (including 24 years at Orange), I chose in 2025 to redirect my career towards my lifelong passions: fine wines, gastronomy and the art of living — always guided by one constant value: excellence in human connection.

After returning from expatriation in 2014, I launched a high-end guesthouse in Bligny-lès-Beaune, at the heart of Burgundy’s vineyards: L’Escale de Jules et Lily. Modestly born with just two guest rooms, it now welcomes more than 2,000 travellers a year for an authentic immersion in Burgundy — a blend of conviviality, nature, well-being and the art of hospitality.

In 2019, I founded Maison Bertrand Vuillemin with the acquisition of our first vines in Volnay. We craft meticulous, artisanal cuvées from exceptional terroirs: Volnay, Pommard and Santenay for the reds; Chablis, Saint-Véran and Auxey-Duresses for the whites — all driven by a pursuit of excellence, from the vineyard to the table.

At the end of 2024, I created in French-speaking Switzerland KLIMATS by Bertrand Vuillemin, a cross-border project linking Burgundy and Switzerland through bespoke tastings, tailored Wine Tours and private events for discerning enthusiasts.

Today, all my activities are united under a single, distinctive signature: Bertrand Vuillemin — a brand offering a collection of rare wines, an online boutique, a cellar with over 600 references, and unforgettable oenological experiences featuring some of the world’s most legendary bottles, including those from Romanée-Conti.

Holder of the Professional Certificate in Sensory Analysis from the École des Vins de Beaune and certified across Burgundy’s 33 Grands Crus, I place my expertise at the service of those for whom wine is more than a product — it is an emotion to be experienced and shared.
