Eric Boigelot
The Éric Boigelet estate, located in Meursault, is a discreet yet respected name among lovers of authentic Burgundy. Éric Boigelet, an independent winemaker, cultivates a few hectares of vineyards on renowned Côte de Beaune appellations, mainly in Meursault, but also in nearby white and red appellations.
Vineyard work is carried out with great care, using a reasoned and environmentally respectful approach. Harvesting is manual, fermentations are slow, and oak barrel aging is well controlled, with moderate use of new wood. The wines produced at the estate reflect the winemaker himself: sincere, straightforward, and precise.
In Meursault especially, the cuvées express the terroir's mineral tension, buttery and floral aromas, while maintaining freshness and finesse. The reds, often from more discreet terroirs, are nonetheless charming, with clean fruit and solid structure. The Éric Boigelet estate remains faithful to a humble yet rigorous Burgundian tradition, prioritizing terroir and vintage expression without stylistic effects.
