Jean-Jacques Confuron
The Jean-Jacques Confuron estate, located in Premeaux-Prissey, south of Nuits-Saint-Georges, is a renowned family-owned estate that embodies the elegance and precision of the Côte de Nuits. Now run by Alain and Sophie Meunier, heirs to this lineage of winemakers, the estate covers approximately 8 hectares across prestigious appellations such as Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Clos de Vougeot, and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.
The estate has long followed the principles of organic farming, officially certified since 2003, with meticulous care given to every stage, from vine to bottle. In the cellar, winemaking is low-intervention, with whole-cluster maceration depending on the vintage, natural fermentations, and barrel aging with a measured use of new oak.
The wines are distinguished by their refined aromatic complexity, depth on the palate, and elegant structure that perfectly expresses the typicity of each terroir. Over the years, Jean-Jacques Confuron has become a reliable reference for collectors of age-worthy Burgundy, combining technical precision, family tradition, and a quest for balance.
