Domaine Jean-Pierre Maldant
The Domaine Jean-Pierre Maldant is a family-run estate rooted in Ladoix-Serrigny since 1895, located on the foothills of the Corton hill. In 1998, Jean-Pierre decided to dedicate his entire production to the estate, now managed by his son Pierre-François, who has been the winemaker since 2010 and officially took over in 2014, representing the fifth generation of winemakers.
Today, the estate covers around 9–10 hectares of old vines planted in small parcels across Ladoix, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune, and Aloxe-Corton. The vineyard is cultivated without systemic products, using traditional plowing and manual harvesting.
The domaine offers the full range of Burgundy appellations, from regional Bourgogne to Premier and Grand Crus whites (including the renowned Corton-Charlemagne), along with a selection of micro-cuvées to preserve the expression of individual climates. The wines, vinified and aged on site, combine precision, typicity, and finesse, with an annual production of about 45,000 bottles.
