Benoît Ente

Domaine Benoît Ente, located in Puligny-Montrachet, is renowned for producing white wines of remarkable purity and precision. Benoît Ente, the younger brother of Arnaud Ente, began his own production in 1997, inheriting nearly 4 hectares of vineyards, primarily in Puligny-Montrachet, with additional parcels in Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault.

Initially focused on powerful, rich wines, Benoît shifted his style in 2004 toward greater freshness and balance, reducing the use of new oak and limiting bâtonnage. This approach highlights the true expression of each terroir.

Today, the estate covers about 6 hectares spread across some twenty parcels. The wines, particularly the Puligny-Montrachet Premier Crus such as Clos de la Truffière and Folatières En La Richarde, are highly regarded for their finesse, minerality, and aging potential.
