The Jean Guiton Estate, founded in 1975 in Bligny-lès-Beaune by Jean Guiton, now covers around 11 hectares and was passed on to his son Guillaume, who took over in the 2000s. The vineyard produces thirteen cuvées across Côte de Beaune appellations such as Ladoix, Pommard, Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Volnay, and Pernand-Vergelesses, with nearly 95% Pinot Noir and a small amount of Chardonnay and Aligoté.
The estate's approach focuses on respecting the terroir: meticulous vineyard work without systemic herbicides, manual harvesting, and aging for 11 to 18 months in barrels (20% new oak). The wines stand out for their fruit expression, fine tannins, and strong regional identity, and are regularly praised for their consistency and balance.
