Albert Bichot
Domaine Albert Bichot is a historic Burgundy house founded in 1831 in Beaune, which has preserved a strong family heritage over the centuries. Today led by the eighth generation, it is one of the largest Burgundy estates, owning about 130 hectares across the region’s most prestigious appellations, from Côte de Nuits to Côte de Beaune.
The estate combines rigorous vineyard management, often sustainable, with modern vinifications aimed at revealing the purest expression of terroirs. It cultivates a wide range of grape varieties, mainly Pinot Noir for reds and Chardonnay for whites.
The oenological approach combines tradition and innovation, with natural fermentations, barrel aging adapted to the crus, and special attention to wine balance.Domaine Albert Bichot is known for prestigious cuvées such as Grand Crus Chambertin, Montrachet, or Corton-Charlemagne, but also for more accessible wines offering excellent quality-to-price ratios.
The house is also deeply involved in promoting Burgundy internationally, with broad distribution and a strong, reputable image.
