Founded in 1986 by Aubert de Villaine, co-director of the renowned Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, the Domaine de Villaine is located in Bouzeron, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise. Covering around 7 hectares, it produces high-quality wines from vines grown using certified organic farming methods.
A pioneer in showcasing Aligoté, the estate is especially recognized for its Bouzeron whites—fresh, vibrant, and mineral-driven—that faithfully reflect the limestone terroir. It also produces Pinot Noir cuvées with subtle aromas of red fruits and spices, marked by elegance and finesse.
