Located in Saint-Romain, between Meursault and Pommard, Domaine Alain Gras has been cultivating around twelve hectares since 1979, across the appellations of Saint-Romain, Meursault, and Auxey-Duresses.
Planted on clay-limestone soils, the vines yield precise, mineral-driven, and elegant wines. The estate is renowned for its white Saint-Romain wines made from Chardonnay lively and floral as well as its red Saint-Romain wines made from Pinot Noir refined, expressive, and full of charm.
Harvesting is done by hand, and aging takes place in oak barrels, with a balanced use of new wood. Today, Arthur Gras has joined his father to continue the estate’s identity and artisanal expertise. The domaine is also known for its environmentally conscious practices and is certified organic, reflecting its commitment to sustainable viticulture.
