Georges Noëllat

The Domaine Georges Noëllat is a wine estate in the Côte de Nuits (Burgundy), located in Vosne-Romanée. It comes from an old Burgundy winemaking family and was originally founded by Georges Noëllat, then passed down through generations.

Since 2010, it has been managed by Maxime Cheurlin, who significantly modernised the style of the domaine while preserving its Burgundian identity.

The estate farms around 5 to 10 hectares of vineyards (depending on sources and recent changes), mainly planted with Pinot Noir, across prestigious appellations such as Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and Vougeot, including Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites like Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux.

The wines are known for their finesse, intensity, and precise expression of terroir, with a modern style focused on purity of fruit and elegance.
