AOC Montagny

The Montagny appellation is located in the Côte Chalonnaise and is exclusively dedicated to white wines made from Chardonnay. The wines are generally delicate, fruity, and slightly floral, with sometimes a nice minerality. Montagny mainly produces wines to be enjoyed young, but some Premier Cru wines can be kept for a few years to develop more roundness and complexity.
