AOC Bourgogne Epineuil
The AOC Bourgogne Épineuil is an appellation located in northern Burgundy, in the Yonne department, close to the Chablis area. It extends around the village of Épineuil, on well-exposed slopes benefiting from a cool climate typical of this northern part of the region.
This appellation is exclusively dedicated to red wines made from Pinot Noir. The soils, mainly composed of marl and limestone, bring finesse and structure to the wines. Bourgogne Épineuil wines are characterized by fresh red fruit aromas, sometimes complemented by spicy notes, and by a balanced palate that is both supple and elegant.
Appreciated for their approachability and authentic character, wines from the AOC Bourgogne Épineuil offer a fine expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir, combining freshness, generosity, and a strong sense of terroir.
