The Les Chênes cuvée from Domaine Leflaive is a remarkable expression of Chardonnay, grown on clay-limestone soil in the Burgundy region with its plots facing southwest. These vines are managed using biodynamic practices, underlining the commitment to quality and the authenticity of the terroir and the grape. The harvests are meticulously carried out by hand, followed by a gentle pressing and a careful settling. The musts are transported to Puligny-Montrachet for fermentation and aging, benefiting from the expertise of Domaine Leflaive's technical team.

THE WINE AT TASTING

The profile: A gastronomic white wine with a lively intensity, offering remarkable complexity and richness.

The aromas:On the nose, pure and mineral aromas mingle with delicate floral notes and nuances of white fruits.

The palate: On the palate, a vibrant tension leads to a succulent finish, marked by a distinctive saline persistence. The vinification takes place in vats, with aging on fine lees for 15 to 16 months. The fermentation process combines the use of stainless steel tanks, concrete vats, and new oak barrels, adding subtle nuances.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS

Recommended pairings: This gastronomic wine pairs ideally with sea bream, stuffed capon, or leek pie.

Serving temperature: It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 10°.
