The Burgundy red wine presented comes from Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard, under the Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot appellation. This wine is crafted from Pinot Noir grown in one of the finest climats of the appellation, on limestone and marl soil under the influence of a semi-continental climate. Powerful yet possessing a "quiet strength," it reveals a ruby-red color with purple highlights that evolve into warmer orange tones over time. In the cellar, the work is traditional and concludes with oak barrel aging ranging from 14 to 18 months.
