Richard Angonin

The Domaine Richard Angonin is a young wine estate founded in 2015 by Richard Angonin, a trained oenologist, and based in Volnay (though technically connected to the neighboring terroirs of Remigny, Santenay, and Pommard). The estate is small, covering approximately 1.4 hectares, and produces between 6,000 and 7,000 bottles per year. Its main wines include a Bourgogne Pinot Noir, a Côte de Nuits-Villages Blanc, and a pétillant naturel made from Aligoté.

Currently undergoing organic conversion, the domaine is known for its meticulous work with old vines, manual harvesting, whole-cluster vinification, and oak barrel aging. The wines are praised for their vibrant fruit, finesse, and easy-drinking, gourmet style, offering a fresh, modern character at accessible prices.
