Domaine Emilian Gillet

The Emilian Gillet estate, located in Clessé in the Mâconnais, covers about 10 hectares of Chardonnay on well-exposed clay-limestone soils.

The cellar, modern yet functional, offers gentle pressing, slow fermentation, then aging in vats and barrels depending on the cuvée. Clessé wines are characterized by their freshness, energetic citrus tension, and elegant minerality, sometimes with a hint of salinity on the finish.

Village and Premier Cru cuvées, such as Clessé lieux-dits, show excellent aging potential and aromatic complexity. Emilian Gillet focuses on the pure expression of the Mâconnais terroir, with bottles that charm through clarity, vibrancy, and youthful accessibility. The estate is steadily gaining recognition among the rising stars of the Mâconnais.
