Domaine Nicolas Perrault

The Domaine Nicolas Perrault is a family-run estate located in Dezize-lès-Maranges, in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune. Taken over by Nicolas in 2012 (third generation), it spans approximately 6 hectares of vineyards, certified organic and cultivated according to principles close to biodynamics.

The estate encompasses 9 appellations, including several Maranges Premier Crus (La Fussière, Clos des Loyères, Clos des Rois, Clos Roussots), as well as parcels in Santenay, with a grape composition of one-third Chardonnay and two-thirds Pinot Noir. Harvesting is done manually in small crates with a rigorous selection, followed by meticulous vinification, often using whole bunches, in an 18th-century Grégo-Cistercian vat room. Aging is carried out in oak barrels and concrete vats, depending on the cuvée.

The wines stand out for their solid yet elegant structure, ripe and generous texture from a young age, while offering excellent aging potential and a precise expression of the Maranges terroir.
