Domaine Saint‑Sébaste spans more than 20 hectares across several villages in the canton of Neuchâtel (Cortaillod, Colombier, Hauterive, Saint‑Blaise, Cressier, Le Landeron). Founded in 1954 and now run by the Kuntzer family (4th and 5th generations), it practices biodynamic viticulture (Demeter certified since 2015) with no chemical fertilizers or herbicides.
The estate produces a wide range: Pinot Noir (including rosé Œil-de-Perdrix and natural rosé cuvées), Chasselas (unfiltered, selection, old vines), Chardonnay (reserve, "Vignes aux Nonnes"), Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, and natural orange wines.
Grapes are hand-picked and sorted, fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts. Aging is done in large oak casks and barrels, without filtration or fining, to preserve aromas and minerality. Their philosophy is to craft wines with identity—expressive, elegant, and terroir-driven. Jean‑Pierre and Anja’s children (Élodie and Ludovic) represent the next generation. The estate offers visits, tastings, and serves as an ambassador of biodynamic Swiss viticulture.
