Albert Pic

Albert Pic is a historic wine house in Chablis, founded in 1755, making it one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy still in operation. Today, it is mainly known for its elegant Chablis wines, but it has also made its mark in the world of spirits with its production of Marc de Bourgogne. Marc is made from the solid residues of grapes (skins, seeds) after pressing, then distilled to obtain a powerful and aromatic eau-de-vie.

At Albert Pic, the marc comes mainly from Chardonnay grapes grown on the limestone soils of Chablis, bringing a particular finesse to the eau-de-vie. Aged in oak barrels, the marc develops complex aromas of dried fruits, candied grapes, vanilla, and sometimes subtle floral notes, while maintaining a beautiful structure. Albert Pic’s Marc de Bourgogne is appreciated for its purity and its ability to reflect the mineral character of the Chablis terroirs.

This production remains confidential and is aimed at connoisseurs of authentic spirits, enjoyed as a digestif or in certain traditional Burgundian recipes. In this way, Albert Pic contributes to preserving the heritage of Marc de Bourgogne while maintaining a high level of quality, symbolizing know-how passed down from generation to generation.
