Dampt Frères
Domaine Dampt Frères is a family-run estate located in Collan, north of Chablis, within the Yonne wine region. It is currently managed by brothers Éric, Emmanuel, and Hervé Dampt, representing the third generation of passionate winemakers. Together, they cultivate nearly 60 hectares of vineyards spread across prestigious appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru, and Bourgogne Tonnerre.
The domaine stands out for its rigorous approach to viticulture, with deep respect for the soils and meticulous work both in the vineyard and cellar. Harvests are partly manual, vinifications are minimally interventionist, and aging is carried out in tanks or barrels depending on the cuvée, always aiming to preserve the freshness and typical mineral expression of the Chablis terroir. The estate is certified for High Environmental Value (Haute Valeur Environnementale).
The wines from Domaine Dampt are straight, taut, and finely chiseled, with beautiful fruit purity and a saline finish. A reliable and serious address that perfectly illustrates the finesse of the Yonne terroirs.
