This wine from the AOC Aloxe-Corton is a white Burgundy wine. The only Aloxe-Corton made from 100% Pinot Gris, known as "Pinot Beurot" in Burgundy. It is an atypical, round, and rich wine with aromas of exotic fruits, boasting great length on the palate and excellent aging potential. Domaine du Comte Senard, based in Aloxe-Corton, is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in the Côte de Beaune. Run by the Senard family, a lineage of renowned winemakers, the domaine spans 13 hectares, primarily in the Corton and Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru appellations that define the region’s excellence.

For decades, the estate has focused on preserving the natural balance of its vines while honoring Burgundy’s winemaking traditions. Practicing sustainable and near-organic viticulture, the domaine meticulously tends its soils and respects local biodiversity. Grapes are hand-harvested, and each wine undergoes careful vinification and oak barrel aging to express its full richness and complexity.

Wines from Domaine du Comte Senard are benchmarks of Côte de Beaune elegance and depth. The Corton-Charlemagne whites stand out for their richness, minerality, and aromas of white fruit, flowers, and hazelnut.
