Sylvain Langoureau

Domaine Sylvain Langoureau is a 10-hectare family estate located in the hamlet of Gamay, nestled between Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Meursault. Run by the fifth generation, Sylvain (established in 1988) and his wife Nathalie primarily grow Chardonnay (85% of the vineyard), along with some Pinot Noir and Aligoté. The domaine practices sustainable viticulture, close to organic, with plowing, natural grass cover, modest yields, manual harvesting, and oak barrel aging (20–30% new oak) without excessive bâtonnage.

Their range includes notable Premier Crus such as Saint-Aubin “Sur Gamay” and “Champlot,” as well as highly precise whites from Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet. The wines are known for their purity, freshness, minerality, and faithful expression of the terroir. They are regularly recognized by critics, including features in the *Guide Hachette*. The domaine produces around 8,500 to 10,000 bottles annually of elegant, balanced, and vibrant white and red wines.
