Maison A. Bergère
The A. Bergère estate, located in the Petit Morin Valley, is a family-owned Champagne house that combines tradition with high standards. It cultivates mainly Chardonnay (around 70%), but also Pinot Noir (20%) and Meunier (10%) across the terroirs of Fèrebrianges, Étoges, Congy, the Côte des Blancs, and the Sézannais. Its style is defined by elegance, freshness, and finesse: the Origine cuvée, a classic blend, offers fruity aromas of peach and nectarine with a beautiful creamy texture. The Solera cuvée, 100% Chardonnay, highlights slow ageing and freshness, while the Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru draws from the prestigious chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs to express tension, minerality, and delicacy. Finally, the single-vineyard Extra-Brut “Les Clos” cuvée, made from Meunier, reveals great purity, lively tension, and notes of ripe pear, reflecting the vine and its clay-sandy soil.
