Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru
Chapelle-Chambertin is a prestigious Grand Cru located in the Côte de Nuits, in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy.
The appellation covers approximately 5.5 hectares, planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. It takes its name from an old chapel dedicated to Saint-Denis, which no longer exists today.
The clay-limestone soils and gentle slope allow for excellent ripening of the grapes, resulting in wines of great elegance.
Chapelle-Chambertin wines stand out with aromas of red fruits, violets, and sometimes undergrowth as they age. On the palate, they offer a fine, silky structure with delicate length and well-balanced freshness.
This Grand Cru has excellent aging potential, revealing complexity and depth over time. Chapelle-Chambertin wines embody the finesse of Gevrey-Chambertin while offering refined aromatic intensity. They pair perfectly with roasted meats or poultry in sauce.
