Nicknamed the "Champs-Élysées of Burgundy," the Côte de Nuits stretches for about twenty kilometers between Dijon and Corgoloin. Along this narrow strip of east-facing slopes, Pinot Noir reigns supreme, giving birth to some of the greatest red wines in the world.
This is where the majority of Burgundy’s red Grands Crus are found—legendary names such as Romanée-Conti, Chambertin, La Tâche, Clos de Vougeot, Musigny, and Richebourg. This exceptional terroir, cultivated for centuries by monks and handed down through generations, produces wines of remarkable power, finesse, and depth.
Surrounding these iconic crus are prestigious village appellations like Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Morey-Saint-Denis—each offering a mosaic of classified Premier Cru “climats,” each with its own unique personality.
While red wine dominates, a few rare and refined Chardonnays are also produced here—elegant and taut, crafted in very limited quantities.
