Côte de Nuits-Villages offers bold, forthright red wines, characterized by aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, forest floor, and spices. On the palate, they are generous and structured, with well-integrated tannins—an ideal match for roasted meats, offal, terrines, or strong cheeses such as Époisses or Langres.
Though less common, the white wines reveal aromas of white flowers, ripe fruits, and subtle spices. Their elegant freshness makes them a perfect pairing with escargots, grilled fish, parsley ham, or goat cheeses.
Produced between Fixin and Corgoloin, this appellation captures the rich diversity of the Côte de Nuits terroirs, rooted in limestone, marl, and stony soils.
