Morey-Saint-Denis
Situated between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis is a discreet village blessed with an extraordinary wealth of prestigious terroirs. It produces almost exclusively red wines from Pinot Noir that combine power and elegance with remarkable balance.
These wines reveal aromas of ripe black fruits, blackcurrant, forest floor, and sometimes hints of truffle or gentle spices. They are supported by a solid structure and fine tannins, offering impressive length and aging potential. Stylistically, Morey-Saint-Denis sits beautifully between the strength of Gevrey and the finesse of Chambolle.
The village is home to five exceptional Grands Crus: Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Clos de Tart, Clos des Lambrays, and a portion of Bonnes Mares.
The appellation also boasts outstanding Premier Crus and a reputation for long-lived, classic Pinot Noirs that continue to captivate wine lovers worldwide.
