Bonnes Mares Grand Cru
Bonnes-Mares is a powerful red Grand Cru from the Côte de Nuits, straddling Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. Structured, full-bodied, and long on the palate, it combines richness, weight, and refined tannins with an impressive aging potential of 30 to 50 years. Its aromas blend violet, humus, and forest floor notes, sometimes evolving towards animal nuances with maturity.
This characterful wine pairs naturally with roasted or sauced game, glazed poultry, and robust cheeses.
Serving temperature: 14 to 16 °C.
Planted between 250 and 280 meters altitude on limestone and marl soils, Bonnes-Mares was classified as a Grand Cru in 1936. It embodies the controlled power and refined elegance of Burgundy’s great Pinot Noirs.
