Chambolle-Musigny is one of the most refined red wines of the Côte de Nuits, often described as “feminine” for its delicacy and charm.
Its brilliant ruby hue opens with a bouquet of violet, strawberry, and raspberry, which with age evolves into notes of prune, truffle, and forest floor. On the palate, it combines aromatic richness, silky texture, and velvety tannins, with an elegant and persistent structure.
It pairs beautifully with refined meats such as game birds, roast capon, veal, and soft cheeses like Brillat-Savarin, Cîteaux, or Chaource.
Serving temperature: 12–14 °C when young, 14–16 °C when mature.
Grown on well-drained limestone soils between 250 and 300 meters in altitude, Chambolle-Musigny is home to the prestigious Grands Crus Musigny and Bonnes-Mares, as well as the renowned Premier Cru Les Amoureuses. Recognized as an AOC since 1936, it is a true gem of Burgundian finesse.
