Clos de Tart Grand Cru
Clos de Tart is a monopole Grand Cru red, established in 1141 and officially recognized in 1939. It produces a deep, powerful wine that balances charm and strength. Its dark ruby robe precedes a delicate nose of strawberry and violet, evolving towards more complex notes of forest floor and spices. Tannic in its youth, it softens with age while gaining richness and structure.
Ideal with roasted game, rib steaks, glazed poultry, or soft cheeses with washed rinds.
Serving temperature: 12–13 °C when young, 15–16 °C at maturity.
Situated at about 250 meters altitude on scree and limestone soils, Clos de Tart embodies the noble power of Pinot Noir on the heights of Morey-Saint-Denis.
