Meursault
A great white from the Côte de Beaune, Meursault embodies the richness and elegance of Chardonnay. Its brilliant green-gold color with silvery highlights evolves into deeper golden tones with age. The nose combines almond, roasted hazelnut, white flowers, linden, flint, butter, and honey, depending on the terroir and maturity. On the palate, it is full-bodied, silky, and structured, with a superb balance between richness and freshness — long and built for ageing.
Its aromatic power enhances white meats in sauce, grilled shellfish, foie gras, and blue cheeses.
Serving temperature: 12 to 14 °C.
Grown on limestone marl at around 260 meters in altitude, the Meursault vineyard benefits from ideal exposure and a terroir shaped since the 11th century. Recognized as an AOC since 1937, it produces some of the finest white wines in Burgundy.
