Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
Bâtard-Montrachet is one of Burgundy’s greatest white wines, renowned for its perfect balance of power, richness, and elegance. Its golden color with emerald highlights is accompanied by a complex bouquet of butter, warm croissant, dried fruits, spices, honey, and fern. On the palate, it is both creamy, firm, dry, and profound, showcasing a rare harmony.
This exceptional wine calls for noble dishes: foie gras, caviar, lobster, spiny lobster, or poultry in creamy sauces, not forgetting monkfish or veal.
Serving temperature: 12 to 14 °C.
Produced from richer brown limestone soils with higher clay content, at elevations between 240 and 250 meters, this Grand Cru, shared between Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet, represents one of the ultimate expressions of Chardonnay.
