Saint-Bris
Saint-Bris is a unique appellation in Burgundy, being the only one to produce wines from lively and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc, with a pale straw color. It expresses notes of grapefruit, mandarin, peach, and blackcurrant leaves, sometimes accompanied by an exotic and saline touch. On the palate, it is fruity, floral, and spicy — perfect when young but capable of aging gracefully for a few years.
This wine pairs wonderfully with oysters, shellfish, fish, goat cheeses, and spicy dishes.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C as an aperitif, 10–12 °C with food.
Produced from limestone slopes around Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, near Auxerre, this Sauvignon reveals a fresh and mineral expression unique to Burgundy.
