Chorey-Lès-Beaune
Chorey-lès-Beaune produces supple and fruity red wines with a deep purple hue. The nose combines raspberry, sour cherry, blackberry, licorice, and forest floor, evolving with age toward leather, gingerbread, and jam. On the palate, these wines offer roundness, elegance, and freshness, supported by a fine tannic structure.
The whites, pale gold in color, reveal aromas of white flowers, hazelnut, and lemongrass, with a beautiful balance between liveliness and softness.
These versatile wines pair wonderfully with poultry, risottos, charcuterie, pizzas, and even spicy or summery dishes.
Serving temperatures: reds 12–13 °C when young, 15–16 °C when mature; whites 11–13 °C.
Located at the foot of the Côte between Beaune and Aloxe-Corton, on marl-limestone and gravelly soils, Chorey-lès-Beaune is an excellent introduction to the world of Burgundy Village appellations.
