Beaune, the historic heart of Burgundy’s vineyards, is renowned for its vibrant red wines with aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, forest floor, and spice. Structured and intense in the north, softer and rounder in the south, these wines gain complexity with age, developing notes of truffle and leather.
The rarer white wines are floral and indulgent, blending almond, honey, dried fruits, and cinnamon, evolving into a fuller, more generous profile over time.
The reds pair beautifully with roasted or braised game and strong cheeses like Époisses or Munster. The whites, when young, elevate poultry, fish, or tagines — and when aged, they shine alongside mature cheeses.
Serving temperature: reds 15–16 °C, whites 12–14 °C.
Planted between 220 and 300 meters in altitude on well-exposed limestone and marl-clay soils, the Beaune vineyard — recognized as an AOC since 1936 — embodies the elegance and diversity of Burgundy’s greatest wines.
